Acquisition Advisory
Navigating the Mexican Market
Mexico offers some of the world's highest short-term rental yields — particularly along the Pacific and Caribbean coasts — combined with a legal framework that is accessible to foreign buyers through clearly defined structures. Acapulco, Tulum, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, and Playa del Carmen each represent distinct investment profiles, from resort-grade STR yield to long-term capital appreciation.
We coordinate the full process: RFC tax ID registration, fideicomiso (bank trust) setup for coastal zone property, notarial process coordination, ejido land verification, and post-purchase setup.
What We Help Acquire
- • Coastal resort properties and vacation homes (fideicomiso structure)
- • City apartments and luxury condos in Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende, Mérida
- • Commercial and hospitality assets (boutique hotels, restaurants, B&Bs)
- • Land and development plots with verified title
Key Process Notes
RFC (Tax ID)
Required for all property transactions in Mexico. We assist foreign buyers in obtaining the Registro Federal de Contribuyentes early in the process.
Fideicomiso Trust
Foreign buyers in the restricted zone (50km coast / 100km border) must hold property through a Mexican bank trust. We coordinate setup with reputable banks.
The Notario Público
Mexico's notary is a state-appointed official who oversees the escritura (title deed). They ensure legality — we ensure your interests are protected before any signing.
Ejido & Title Verification
We coordinate independent title searches to confirm clear title, no encumbrances, and that the property is not built on improperly regularised ejido land.
Our team is especially positioned to support clients from Latin America, the Caspian region, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia who are considering Mexico as an acquisition destination — both as a lifestyle investment and as a high-yield rental asset.
